Oak Grove is a dynamic and innovative company committed to excellence in the mining/energy industry. We are currently expanding our finance team and are looking for a skilled Accountant with a strong background in budgeting, financial closing, and SAP S4 Hana systems.

Primary Responsibilities:   

We are seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Financial Closing: Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate, compliant, and completed on time.
• Budgeting: Developing, managing, and monitoring budgets across various departments to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
• SAP S4 Hana Operations: 
  • Utilizing SAP for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis. Must have a deep understanding of SAP modules related to finance (FI), controlling (CO), and possibly others like Sales and Distribution (SD) or Materials Management (MM).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work closely with other departments to streamline financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Participate in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, with proven experience in budgeting and financial closing.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP S4 Hana; certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
