California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) Financial Reporting and Accounting Services Division is seeking an Accounting Officer to provide professional accounting duties to support the Travel Unit.

The Accounting Officer's duties include but are not limited to:
  • Processing and reimbursing administrative revolving fund account advances and payments.
  • Payment, recording, reporting, and reconciliation of travel, training, salary, and miscellaneous expenses, accounts receivables, and payroll.
  • Audit relocation and travel expense claims and other requests for reimbursement from employees, board members, and retirees.

Statement of Qualifications

Please provide a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for the hiring manager’s review. Applications received without an SOQ or those that do not respond to the specific statements below will not be considered.

The SOQ must be typed, titled “Statement of Qualifications”, and each statement must be numbered, written out, and answered listing all relevant experience, education, and training, including places of employment, dates, and duties performed.
