The Assistant Manager serves as one of the Team Leaders. They not only help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle but, also provide guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store.

• Assists Team Members at the point of sale(POS) with upselling
• Assists in Team Member management during scheduled shifts
• Encourages Team Members on shift to exceed goals and complete all checklist tasks
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, vision and mission of Smoothie King
• Greets and engages with the Guest to provide a friendly experience
• Is willing and looking to take on new tasks outside of their role
• Guest service experience in a restaurant or retail environment
• Assist the General Manager

Qualifications

• Previous managment experience required.
• Previous food handling or customer service experience appreciated
• Ability to follow established procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality products or services to the guests
• Proactive attention to detail that motivates double-checking orders and making records of information when necessary
• Strong customer service skills
• Willingness to adapt to different roles and job duties as the need arises
• Ability to work smoothly with a team, synchronizes processes with others to fulfill orders as quickly as possible
• Must be efficient and energetic, multitasking to complete multiple orders or switching between different types of activities
