**Job Title: Auto Body Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician with at least 2 years of body shop/bodywork experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing, sanding, polishing, and masking vehicles for paint defects, as well as performing light bodywork. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. **Responsibilities** + Seal all seams and prepare products (units) for painting. + Sand, polish, and scuff areas on vehicles to prepare for paint defects. + Mask and tape vehicles for paint preparation. + Perform light bodywork as needed. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of body shop/bodywork experience. + Proficient in paint preparation, masking, sanding, polishing, and light bodywork. + Ability to seal seams and prepare vehicles for paint defects. + Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in buffing and painting. + Attention to detail and quality workmanship. **Why Work Here?** Join our team for long-term stability, benefits, and opportunities for upward mobility. The role requires adherence to safety standards and proper use of protective gear. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South El Monte, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
