Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Location: Gastonia, NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: Days – 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Job Summary:
A facility in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and will also support Pre/Post Cardiac units as needed.
Responsibilities:Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment
Maintain sterile techniques during procedures
Record and monitor patient data throughout the procedure
Provide support during emergency situations
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
Float to Pre/Post Cardiac Units as needed
Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 weekday per week + every 5th weekend)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
Active national certification (e.g., RCIS or ARRT with Cath Lab experience preferred)
BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required)
Strong knowledge of Cath Lab equipment, procedures, and sterile protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility to float to related units as needed
10-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
On-Call: 1 weekday per week and every 5th weekend (Friday–Sunday)
