Summary :

We are seeking a skilled CCNP Network Engineer to join our team, serving as a Tier III escalation point for network issues and providing comprehensive infrastructure services. This role involves designing, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, cloud environments, and network security solutions in both small and large-scale environments.

1. Serve as an escalation point for Tier III support issues raised from Tier I and II teams.
2. Provide robust infrastructure services, including LAN, WAN, cloud environments, network security, and network monitoring.
3. Collaborate with business and engineering teams to implement secure LAN/WAN, wireless, and Data Center network solutions.

1. Perform routing and switching design, configuration, and deployment for:
   • LAN and Data Center Fabric environments.
   • WAN in small to very large enterprise settings.
2. Apply vendor best practices to client environments for secure network solutions.

1. Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including connectivity and traffic utilization problems.
2. Troubleshoot and optimize RF (radio frequency) design and Wireless LAN setups, including Cisco WLAN (WLCs, Prime).

1. Implement and manage Network Access Control solutions, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
2. Assist with Load Balancing and Acceleration solutions (e.g., Citrix).

1. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
2. Assist in creating and maintaining client documentation, monthly reports, and recommendations.
3. Provide after-hours coverage as part of an on-call rotation for client upgrades.

1. Offer network engineering consulting services, including assessment, design, and implementation of secure network products/solutions.
2. Interface with third-party vendors for collaboration and troubleshooting.

1. Stay updated with industry trends, news, and best practices.
2. Assist with training and mentoring junior team members.

• Experience :

  • 7+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years in enterprise networking (configuring, analyzing, troubleshooting).
  • Experience in Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or Professional Services is a plus.

• Certifications :

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification required.

• Technical Skills :

  • Strong expertise in Cisco-based LAN/WAN and Data Center networks.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Nexus devices, wireless LAN controllers (WLCs), and Prime.
  • Knowledge of SAN and Data Center Fabric routing.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Kibana.
  • Expertise in network security and Network Access Control (Cisco ISE).

• Other Skills :

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in creating detailed documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Cisco ISE implementation experience.
• Knowledge of load balancing/acceleration solutions (e.g., Citrix).
• RF design and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
