This employer is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to join their team. In this role, you'll work closely with a variety of enterprises to understand their operations and provide customized lending solutions. You'll be responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of commercial loans while ensuring compliance with our bank's lending policies. This role involves both in-office tasks and significant time spent off-site visiting customers. You will manage existing accounts and develop new business relationships.

Responsibilities

* Create and institutionalize strong relationships with clients by providing financial advice and tailored lending solutions.
* Assist with developing new business by calling on potential and existing customers and cross-selling the bank's services.
* Have commercial lending experience in local economies.
* Underwrite, negotiate, and process commercial loans efficiently.
* Manage existing accounts for the bank and ensure satisfaction by addressing client needs and creating an inclusive base for them to rely on.
* Understand the loan and closing procedures in accordance to the bank's policies and procedures.
