Communications & Public Affairs Specialist Location Auburn Hills, MI :

Overall responsibilities and duties:

The role of an Communications & Public Affairs is to build, manage and promote a positive and consistent image of the Group in North America according to the policy defined by the Communications Team. The main missions of the role are:

  • Support the Business Partners in developing materials for the divisions and region
  • Develop content for Faur'Us and Social Media
  • Assist with the development of presentations
  • Manage and maintain the video players and playlists in each of the NAO locations
  • Support external event logistics and preparation
  • Support and project manage events and initiatives for NAO engagement activities for team members
  • Assist with the development of press materials
  • Event management
  • Project management
  • Lead the Engagement team at the North American Headquarters
  • Manage the inventory and relationship with the Forvia Store (wearables, gifts, etc.)

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum education level: Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism or Social Sciences

Experience:

  • At least 0-3 years experience in a similar role if possible in an industrial company

Skills and competencies:

  • International mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
  • Writing skjills
  • Creativity, open mind and autonomy
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image both externally and internally
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management
