Corporate Marketing Communication Manager Location Goleta, CA :

KYOCERA SLD Laser, Inc. (KSLD) is commercializing a new generation of gallium nitride (GaN) laser light sources. KSLD's unique GaN laser technology and high luminance LaserLightTM sources are utilized in a wide range of applications including automotive & mobility, specialty & portable lighting, entertainment & outdoor, projection & AR/VR displays, biomedical instrumentation & therapeutics, and industrial imaging & material processing.

KSLD is seeking a candidate for a Corporate Marketing Communication Manager role as the company expands its business and commercialization of GaN LD and LD based products. We're looking for an experienced Corporate Marketing Communication Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans that enhance our corporate brand and effectively engages our target audience. This role involves collaborating with cross functional teams, managing content creation, and driving marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative graphics content to effectively describe and promote the company and its products.
  • Ideate, design and develop digital marketing campaigns that support internal channel marketing and business development teams and external partners' marketing efforts.
  • Design digital assets for product launches, including advertisements, social images, and animations.
  • Design large scale graphics for trade show booths around the world as well as for customer visits at the corporate headquarters
  • Translate highly technical content into audience-friendly illustrations and graphics used in sales and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify performance marketing test data that aligns with campaign objectives and customer requirements.
  • Manage and create compelling content for various channels including press releases, social media, digital platforms, email campaigns, website, and marketing collateral.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the marketing tech landscape to stay innovative and competitive.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic design and Animation or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in corporate marketing communications with focus on strategy and content development, preferably from the semiconductor industry.
  • Certified in graphic design is a preferred.
  • Proficiency in rapidly understanding technical concepts and products.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing, content creation, and branding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with technical and marketing teams to work closely together for the development of accurate and compelling marketing communication materials.
  • Proficient in using various digital marketing platforms such as social medica (LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) email marketing tools and content management systems.
  • Tech- savvy- experience working in technical marketing field, automotive marketing, display systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

The full-time base salary range for the Corporate Marketing Communication Manager position is $148,000 to $175000 per annum. The range reflects the minimum and maximum possible base salary for new hires for the role, based on the advertised location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
