Job Description

At Cambridge Dental Group , we are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our brand new spacious office in Tom's River. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Knowledge of and experience with Dentrix or a similar program is required. Additionally, if you don’t have prior dental office experience, it is unlikely that this would be the right position for you.

Duties:

  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
  • Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork.
  • Assist with patient registration and update patient records in the system (Dentrix).
  • Handle patient inquiries, provide information about services, and address concerns or complaints.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental practice management software (Dentrix) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
