Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a **Senior Highway Project/Design Manager** to be based in **Los Angeles, CA.** **Job Responsibilities** + Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects. + Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets. + Change and risk management. + Coordinates client needs and develops/builds on relationships for future opportunities. + Mentors, develops, and hires support staff. + Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute/resolution process. + Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals. + Builds and maintains relationships with project owners/AHJ's. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree + Ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Must possess CA state PE license **Preferred Qualifications:** + 20+ years of transportation project experience + Experienced with Design Build delivery for final design + Design Build Project Experience + Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects on large complex highway projects. + Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment. + State Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain within twelve months. + Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff + Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites **Additional Information** + Sponsorship is available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
