The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC)/NewYork- Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking an outstanding radiologist to lead our Division of Emergency Radiology. This is a unique opportunity to build a growing division in a department known for clinical, research, and educational excellence. Reporting directly to the department Chair, the Division Chief of Emergency Radiology will oversee imaging throughout the CUIMC/NYP system and provide vision and leadership for a team of more than 15 radiologists. The Division of Emergency Radiology at CUIMC/NYP oversees all aspects of diagnostic imaging for emergency department patients. We value our excellent collaborations with Columbia’s world-class clinical teams, including Emergency Medicine, Surgery, the Trauma Service, as well as our other radiology department specialty sections. We also participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of a group of 32 excellent radiology residents who rotate through the division. The clinical schedule includes late afternoon, evening, weekend and overnight shifts, usually on a 7 day-on/14 day-off schedule. We seek candidates with excellent communication and leadership skills. Prior administrative experience and demonstrated commitment to training and education are highly valued. Salary range is $400,000 - $500,000. Columbia offers a generous benefits package.
