Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our growing team in Jersey City. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of various corporate and promotional events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly from pre-event coordination to post-event wrap-up.
Responsibilities
Assist with event planning, logistics, and scheduling
Communicate with vendors, venues, and clients to confirm details
Coordinate travel, accommodations, and event materials
Support on-site event setup and teardown
Prepare reports, manage inventory, and maintain event files
Handle administrative tasks related to event operations
Troubleshoot issues during events to ensure quality delivery
Collaborate with the events and creative teams to deliver cohesive experiences
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field
1-2 years of experience in event coordination or administrative support
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event software tools
Ability to work flexible hours when required (some evenings/weekends)
Positive attitude and a strong sense of initiative
