Dalio Family Office Overview:

The Dalio Family Office (DFO) supports Barbara and Ray Dalio and their family in their ventures, investments, and philanthropic efforts under Dalio Philanthropies, which includes OceanX, Dalio Education, Endless Network, and the Beijing Dalio Foundation. The office is headquartered in Westport, CT with satellite offices in New York City, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an intern in our Finance and Accounting Pillar, who will assist in performing a variety of activities to support the pillar's activities. The intern will be responsible for both the execution of daily tasks and transactions, as well as support of several strategic initiatives underway within the Pillar. As the DFO is an evolving entity, you must be able to thrive in fast-paced, fluid environment and be comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:
  • Support accounting and financial operations on daily transactional tasks
  • Support the internal audit of the record to report process, assisting with sample gathering and policy and procedure reviews
  • Assist with the on-going chart of account dimension rationalization project
  • Working with the Finance and Accounting project management team along with the leaders of Accounting, Finance Operations, and FP&A, support several small to medium projects concurrently and provide leverage on large projects including risk identification, schedule timing, task and dependency management, budget management, project charters and
  • Liaise between project team and stakeholders to ensure deliverables are adequately met and convey regular status reports

Qualifications:
  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited university
  • Eagerness to learn
  • An interest in financial and accounting processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 5 GPA or higher

Internship Dates: June 16th - August 8th 2025

This internship is on a hybrid schedule and ill report to Westport, CT 3 times per week.

Compensation:

Compensation for the role includes an hourly wage of $20/hr. This position is eligible for statutory benefits only.
