Hi, it's Kasey with gpac your Food Manufacturing Industry Headhunter. I have partnered with a well-known and respected food manufacturing company in North Carolina who are seeking a Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance. The company is confidential as is the exact location but the role is located in North Central North Carolina and is an on-site position, Relocation Assistance is Available.

What You Will Do:

As an SQF certified expert you will lead the team in gaining their SQF certification in the 1st quarter of 2025.

You will have the certifications and knowledge needed to ensure the facility is compliant: SQF, HACCP, FDA Regulations, GMP, OSHA and any others that may apply.

Bachelor of Science in Food Safety and at least 3 years of food quality and safety experience.

Create, revise and develop SOPs throughout the facility and train the staff as needed to ensure compliance.

Support and monitor the sanitation team, especially for CIP and COP

Experience with aseptic and/or hot fill operations is a huge plus.

A positive attitude and a willingness to build and develop people through coaching, training and corrective action as needed.
