Nestled in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, Wolf Gap is a boutique winery producing award-winning wines — including a Virginia Governor’s Cup Gold Medal for our signature Clare Sparkling Rosé.

• ? The Role
As General Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of Wolf Gap’s day-to-day operations — overseeing our tasting room, leading our team, curating an exceptional guest experience, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and profitably. You’ll work closely with ownership to bring the Wolf Gap vision to life while building a strong foundation for future expansion.

• ? Key Responsibilities
• Lead the daily operations of the tasting room with hands-on support and a guest-first mindset
• Recruit, train, and manage tasting room staff to uphold Wolf Gap’s exceptional service standards
• Manage schedules to ensure optimal staffing for weekdays and event support
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and keep the tasting room well-stocked and organized
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and informed
• Track and report performance metrics including sales, labor, and profitability
• Collaborate on marketing efforts, event coordination, and wine club support
• Maintain compliance with all Virginia ABC laws and health/safety regulations
• Assist with occasional after-hours events, weddings, or live music support as needed

• What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in hospitality or winery management
• A warm, approachable leader who leads by example
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Business-savvy mindset with attention to budgets, margins, and operations
• Enthusiasm for wine, music, and delivering memorable guest experiences
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet during shifts
• Must be 21+ and eligible to serve alcohol in Virginia
