Job Title:  Global Controller, Sales & Purchasing (Squeeze Controller)

What you'll do:

Provide the Sales & Purchasing functions with global controlling expertise and support business development activities (e.g. thru business insight, analysis and reports), together with relevant training to ensure a world class Global Purchasing and Sales Organizations. The global controllers provide in depth analysis and understanding of the material margin (sales – purchasing) data, results and forecast, organizing follow ups and drive the organization towards the defined measurements & KPI’s in a consistent way aligned with corporate standards.

• Sales team provides value through growing and increasing the top line revenues.
• Purchasing provides value to the company through a competitive supply base optimized for technology, quality, delivery & cost.

The Global Controller acts as a Data Steward of global Sales and Purchasing systems for Commercial Actions, Direct Material Sourcing and Purchasing, Indirect Purchasing systems, Contract Vaults, Purchasing BI area/systems, Purchasing VNET (intranet) as well as central team sites & Purchasing Master Data. Manages the Global interaction between all functional Purchasing controlling regional activities.

• Track and report the Commercial actions, such as APRs, Claims, Repricing and VE/VA.
• Prepare and implement the work connected to the Purchasing definitions stated in the Purchasing Control Manual (PCM)
  • Support, Ensure Purchasing definitions are communicated and well understood within and outside the Purchasing community.
  • Facilitate and assure correct reporting according to PCM.
• Prepare, analyze and support Purchasing reporting
• Drive the Purchasing Forecast process
• Ensure data integrity and drive data quality improvements in support systems. Implement the global Purchasing IT Strategy. Manage Purchasing Master Data and Contracts.
• Analysis of closure results and forecast
• Provide purchasing support and analysis to other corporate functions
• Prepare & support reporting and organize follow up meetings
  • Commodity and local Purchasing, Indirect Purchasing and project Purchasing
• Prepare and organize Purchasing Forecast process and reporting follow up meetings
• Proxy to the Director, Sourcing Controlling, Business Office
• Manage the Global Conflict Mineral database, tracking and, reporting.
• Function Governance Support, Forums such as, Forecast & Capacity Assurance
• Business, Processes and Support Systems development
• Purchasing group IT systems access approval and support
• Manage Sourcing Board, Monthly Reporting and tracking
• Drive process improvement and value add Purchasing activities

All and any other tasks as assigned by direct manager.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales, purchasing and/or business controlling
• Experience working in multinational companies
• Ability to work towards deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
• Experience in OBIEE, and HRM is an advantage, as well as an interest in systems and IT.

This role may require travel 10% - 20% of the time.
