Ripple Effect Strategies is a Democratic fundraising firm dedicated to crafting compelling, results-driven messaging that helps our clients raise the money they need to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Design visually engaging digital and print materials including:
  
   
  • Social media graphics
    
     
  • Infographics and data visualizations
    
     
  • Reports, presentations, and one-pagers
    
     
  • Email and web visuals
    
     
• Work closely with the communications and data teams to ensure visuals align with messaging, branding, and data accuracy.
  
   
• Translate data into clear, impactful visuals that resonate with non-technical audiences.
  
   
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced remote work environment.
  
   
• Adapt and iterate designs based on feedback and evolving needs.
  
   
• Maintain and evolve the firm’s visual identity and branding assets.
  
   

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of professional design experience (freelance or agency work counts!)
  
   
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and/or Figma
  
   
• Strong portfolio showcasing data visualization, campaign graphics, and/or brand storytelling
  
   
• Understanding of progressive values and a desire to advance social justice through design
  
   
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  
   

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with political campaigns, advocacy orgs, or nonprofits
  
   
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices in design
  
   
• Basic animation or motion design skills (e.g., After Effects)
  
   
• Familiarity with Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint for quick-turn work
