These internships require 30 hours per week during the summer. 

Are you a high school student interested in Business, Restaurant Operations. Ready to dive into the fast-paced world of Hospitality? This internship is a unique opportunity for rising Juniors and Seniors in Fairfax County Public Schools to gain hands-on experience, explore career paths, and build valuable professional skills in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills that will set you up for success in the hospitality industry and beyond. 

• Business & Operations Insight: Learn how restaurants, and hospitality businesses operate behind the scenes.

This internship is a valuable opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while gaining the skills and experience that will give you a head start in your future career!

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear and effective communication
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Self-motivated and proactive with a team-player mindset
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Capable of evaluating and interpreting data
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Completion/Enrollment in one or more of the following courses recommended:

• Any Marketing Course
• Business Management
• Entrepreneurship
• IB Business
