This is a Labor and Delivery Nurse position offering flexible scheduling options (36 or 48-hour workweeks) for local travelers, who will be compensated at a travel rate. A minimum of two years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care is required. The role includes floating to other units as needed and performing a variety of procedures and managing specialized equipment across various patient care areas including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn. Previous permanent employees of any Providence facility must have a 3-month separation period before applying. Active compact nursing licenses are accepted.

Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn units.
- Float to other units as needed.
- Perform special procedures such as vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, circulating in the OR, starting adult IVs, administering blood/blood products, managing drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
- Utilize and manage specialized equipment for high/low-risk antepartum, L&D, LDRP, OB-GYN, post-op/pre-op, and couplet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care.
- Active compact nursing license.
- AWHONN Intermediate Certification.
- BCLS Certification.
- NRP Certification.
- Circulating in OR experience.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) skills.
- IV start skills.
