Summary 

The primary role of the Life Enrichment Training & Program Supervisor (LE TPS) is supervising all aspects of client coaching and growth through goal-based support as well as supervising daily living support for their caseload. This role is responsible for coaching and developing new Life Enrichment Coaches (LECs).

KIM is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following shift:

Shift: 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

Salary 

$20.00 - $21.00 hourly 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Acknowledge and advocate for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect. 
  • Supervise the teaching of useful emotional and behavioral regulation techniques. 
  • Supervise the identification of areas of change that each client on their caseload would like to achieve. 
  • Supervise collaboration with LECs and clients to develop action plans that center on the actualization of client’s stated ambitions. 
  • Evaluate LEC progress of clients’ advancement toward goal actualization. 
  • Encourage continued and sustainable progress for both LECs and clients. 
  • Supervise goal setting and report progress with clients and management team. 
  • Supervise individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly. 
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly TPS checklists. 
  • Monitor LECs schedules and collaborate with the Scheduling Manager to cover hours for open shifts. 
  • Maintain LECs timecards on PeopleGuru Platform
  • Assist staff with finding appropriate times to conduct peer coaching. 
  • Provide peer coaching/development for new staff, including conducting coaching meetings where you will utilize SMART goals and Reflection sheets. 
  • Complete all required peer coaching paperwork. 
  • Conduct 1:1s with LECs (exceptions upon approval)
  • Provide training, assistance, and support to staff in all areas of daily living, as outlined in the client’s care plans.
  • Supervise homes to ensure adequate client and staff safety. 
  • Confirm that adequate health care is being provided for each client. 
  • Coordinate care based on individualized programs for clients.
  • Model appropriate staff/client relationships. 
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors (Program Manager and/or Health Service Manager) about client needs, wants, concerns, any changes to medications or any other instances that need extra reporting responsibilities. 
  • Responsibly delegate duties to staff with guidance and verbal training before sending them out on appointments and/or or tasks.
  • Coordinate with LECs and Scheduling to assist in finding coverage for all scheduled outings, activities, and health care appointments.
  • Track and re-order PRN medications or those outside of the client’s regular medication cycle. 
  • Assist with resident money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBT’s. 
  • Complete all forms, reports, and data sheets as required by management.
  • Safeguard and maintain an inventory of all company and client property. 
  • Be aware of and abide by all agency policies, procedures, and practices. 
  • Report to management promptly during instances of injuries, behaviors, abuse, safety hazards, etc.
  • Supervise the implementation and documentation of medications. 
  • Monitor KIM communication platforms to provide support to staff and clients as needed 

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations 

  • The Buzz on Adult Leaners Certificate (preferred) 

  • Peer Coaching Training Certificate (preferred) 

  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate (preferred) 

  • Current Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate (preferred) 

Education and Experience 

  • High school graduate or equivalent (required) 

  • Intermediate experience with supporting living, preferably with individuals developmentally or otherwise disabled adults. 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Minimum age of 18 years. 

  • Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with the clients. 

  • Valid driver’s license or State ID. 

  • Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities.

  • Outstanding communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension. 

  • Being able to engage in critical thinking.
