A supervisor's job is to manage employees, ensure work is done well, and communicate with upper management.

Responsibilities include:

• Communicate : Act as a liaison between employees and management.
• Support employees : Identify development needs and help employees succeed.
• Prepare reports : Create reports and updates for management.
• Interview employees : Screen and interview potential employees.
• Plan work : assign tasks, and set priorities.
• Provide guidance : Help employees understand what's expected of them and how to do it.
• Monitor performance : Evaluate employee work and provide feedback.
