Department: Facility Planning and Construction

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 1/7:30:00 AM to 3:30:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $45.46 - $61.37 / hour

Summary

The manager oversees the overall project direction of large, complex and/or multiple projects that have Project Management Teams. They will be coordination and leadership of construction teams. Responsible for direct leadership of the Construction Project Managers and a matrix relationship with the Construction Superintendents and Carpenters. Responsible to plan and oversee the project portfolio to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes including Public Safety scope gaps and pricing inconsistencies. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation and project schedules. Leads the construction team in the estimate/pre-construction phase to construction, including design management, as applicable, to protect material and constructability standards. Responsible for ensuring the project/area is constructed in a safe, ethical manner, and in compliance with all federal, state and local laws including management and follow through on the permitting process.

Requirements

Education : Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience. Requires broad management knowledge to lead multidiscipline project teams across the Lee Health Project Portfolio. Mastery level knowledge and skills in a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function. Expert in management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
