Job Description: Our client is seeking a Multi-Line Desk Adjuster. The successful candidate will have experience with both auto and property adjusting. The schedule for this role is 5 days per week onsite in Texas.
Responsibilities: - Fully handle first and third-party property and auto desk claims
- Investigate and determine coverage and liability
- Obtain and review contractor estimates
- Write and collaborate estimates from the desk in Xactimate and/or Symbility
- Review Field Adjuster estimates
- Prepare and issue claim reports and time and expense billing
- Draft settlement, ROR and other claim related letters
- Negotiate and settle claims
- Take statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses
- Obtain and review evidence, reports and medical records
- Dispatch auto appraisers and review estimates
- Set up rental cars for insureds and claimants
Requirements: - 2+ years of desk adjusting experience, including both auto and property claims
- Active Texas adjuster license
- Transportation claims experience (preferred)
Pay Range: The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-80,000 per year.
