Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Non CDL Driver (Box Truck) to join our team in Richmond, VA. If you enjoy driving and are looking for a role that allows you to be on the road while contributing to a dynamic team, this position is perfect for you! You will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to various locations.
• May have to assist with load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured and handled with care.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. with +3 or higher
• Valid DOT medical card
• Previous experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with the Richmond area and surrounding regions is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
