Operations Manufacturing Manager *

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and direct our shipping operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that delivery commitments, quality standards, financial targets, and safety goals are met. The position involves continuous process and product improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct shipping operations to meet delivery commitments and quality specifications.
  • Oversee financial commitments, safety goals, and implement continuous process and product improvements.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, supervision, evaluation, coaching, discipline, promotion, and termination of personnel.
  • Collaborate with other supervisory roles to develop goals, projects, procedures, and leadership strategies.
  • Maintain high ethical standards, encourage positive communication, and enforce all company policies, rules, and safety regulations.
  • Close vision, and color vision ability required
  • Safely and effectively lifting, carrying, and moving objects of varying weights
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods and maintaining the necessary physical dexterity and coordination
  • Working in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, and noise levels at times

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited institution; BSEE preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in furnace construction management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of titanium processes is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to manage operations 24/7, including overtime and back-shift personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Statistical knowledge and ISO9000 experience are desirable.
  • Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other personal computer applications.
