Job Description:
This position is part of the team responsible for processing the payroll for Nevada's largest healthcare provider, The Valley Health System, a Universal Health Services company. This includes 8 hospitals throughout Las Vegas region and Northern and Western Nevada, Free Standing ER's, physician practices, and surgical centers. The work environment is a energetic fast-paced/fast-growing dynamic setting. Job Duties include: Kronos time keeping setup, processing manual checks/adjustments, garnishments, processing audit, reviewing time records for compliance and accuracy and labor distribution reporting. Healthcare industry training will be provided.
QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Three to five years experience in payroll preferred.
Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system
Other:
General knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
