Job Title:  Process Piping Designer Intern
Location:  Cumberland, RI
Duration:  6 months (with potential to convert to full-time, permanent role upon successful completion)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented  Process Piping Designer Intern  to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of process piping design and to work on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. A newly graduated Engineering Technology major or similarly trained candidate would be an ideal fit.
This 6-month internship is designed with the potential for conversion to a full-time, permanent position upon successful completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and layout of process piping systems using specialized CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Participate in site visits and field inspections to gather data and verify design specifications.
• Prepare and update project documentation,
• Adhere to industry standards and company guidelines in all design activities.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD,).
• Basic knowledge of process piping design principles and practices a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
