Job Title: QA Functional Tester

Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Functional Tester to join the Wire Transfer Technology Test Team. This role is focused on manual day-to-day testing of Wire applications (WTX, RTPF/UPF), validating business and technical requirements across the SDLC. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL and functional testing expertise, combined with knowledge of Wire Transfer processes. While the role is primarily manual, you will also help identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual functional testing of Wire applications to ensure requirements and feature stories are met.


• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, SQA team, and cross-functional technical teams.


• Execute SQL queries and perform Oracle Database testing to validate backend data.


• Design and maintain test cases for regression and functional testing cycles.


• Support Agile ceremonies and follow SDLC/Test Management processes.


• Identify opportunities for automation and partner with the automation team as needed.


• Provide clear defect reporting and support root cause analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of QA/functional testing experience with complex financial systems.


• Strong knowledge of the Wire Transfer process and related functionalities.


• Proficiency in SQL queries and experience with Oracle Database testing.


• Hands-on experience with Agile, SDLC, SDM, and test management tools (Jira, qTest).


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and documentation skills.


• Ability to work independently and in distributed team environments.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
