Job Description

**This FULL TIME position requires relocation for candidates not already in the Gig Harbor/Puyallup, WA area. The hired Radiation Therapist will split their time between both locations.**

**Relocation assistance is provided  **

Flexible Hours: 8-4:30. Come in a bit early or a bit late!

Job Overview:

Join our Radiation Oncology Center client who has been providing oncology services in Pierce County for nearly 40 years. They are independently owned and are established leaders in the delivery of compassionate, leading edge oncology care.

Duties:

  • Perform radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators or other radiation equipment
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
  • Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and report any issues to the oncologist
  • Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
  • Educate patients on treatment procedures and possible side effects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Current certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in acute care or critical care settings preferred
  • Familiarity with radiation therapy modalities including mammography and CT scans

Pay: $83,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
