InGenesis is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work with our client in a mobile clinic. In this role, you will be servicing patients in Alameda and Santa Clara counties.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assists the dentist during a variety of examinations and treatment procedures: instrument transfer, dental procedure isolation techniques, and preparation of dental materials.
• Records medical and dental history and vital signs of patients.
• Manage patient flow to maximize patient access and service.
• Instructs patients in oral hygiene and plaque control.
• Prepares and maintains dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Record treatment information in patient record using Electronic Dental Records system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CA RDA Licensee, Coronal Polishing License, and Sealant License.
• X-ray license.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS training.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Farsi, Vietnamese, or Mandarin).

Physical Demands:

• Required to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Required to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
• Must be able to make fast, repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists.
• Must be able to bend or twist their body for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to coordinate movement of several parts of the body, such as arms and legs, while the body is moving.
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry 35 pounds.
• Must be able to see details at a close range.
