We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Administrator On-Call. This position involves providing indirect patient care and support to patients and caregivers who may require assistance outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also offer oversight and support to the weekend/on-call clinical staff. While this is a remote role, occasional in-person education and in-service sessions may be required. You'll also have scheduled management tasks on weekends to ensure the smooth functioning of the weekend operations.

Responsibilities:
Educate patients and caregivers about their diagnosis, medications, infection control practices, and safety measures in alignment with the care plan.
Provide administrative on-call support during after hours, weekends, and holidays, including managing workflow and overseeing weekend clinical staff.
Ensure smooth coordination of care by working closely with other healthcare professionals.
Maintain compliance with state, local, and payer requirements while ensuring all documentation is accurate and adheres to regulatory standards.
Oversee the requisition and management of equipment and supplies, promoting patient independence and functional improvement.
Demonstrate effective teaching and clinical skills for a variety of patient care needs.
Supervise and support weekend clinical staff, ensuring quality care and productivity.
Stay alert to changes in patient status and report any concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure all patient care reports and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant with agency and regulatory standards.
Provide ongoing education to patients and caregivers regarding safety and therapeutic interventions.
Attend meetings, patient care conferences, and in-service training as required.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights in accordance with regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Qualifications:
Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Valid RN license in the state of practice
Current CPR certification
Prior experience in home care is preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge
Professional appearance and demeanor
Comfortable with computer systems and industry-specific software applications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with great attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
