Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, licensed RN to join our team as an Administrator On-Call. This role is designed to provide indirect patient care and support to patients and caregivers during after-hours and weekends. You'll play a key role in supporting quality patient care and customer service beyond regular business hours, all while working remotely. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person educational sessions or services. The position includes after-hours administrative on-call duties, as well as 16 hours of scheduled management and workflow tasks during weekends.

Responsibilities
Provide patient and caregiver education related to diagnosis, medications, infection control, and safety measures according to the plan of care.
Manage administrative on-call duties after hours, on weekends, and during holiday rotations.
Oversee weekend clinical productivity, admissions, and workflow (weekend hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective coordination and enhancement of patient care and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and payer regulations, and make sure documentation meets the required standards.
Manage patient equipment and supplies, enhancing the client's independence and functionality where appropriate.
Demonstrate teaching proficiency in delivering interventions suited to a wide range of patient care needs.
Provide supervision to weekend clinical staff, ensuring they have the support needed for their roles.
Educate patients and caregivers on appropriate safety measures and care techniques.
Recognize changes in patient condition and report them promptly.
Maintain clear, concise, and accurate reporting of patient status, adhering to agency and regulatory standards.
Review documentation to ensure it complies with both agency and regulatory guidelines.
Show proficiency in completing OASIS documentation accurately within required timeframes.
Adhere to policies and procedures in line with agency, state, and regulatory standards.
Function within the scope of nursing practice and the Nurse Practice Act.
Participate in staff meetings, patient care conferences, and other relevant professional development sessions.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights.
Perform other duties as assigned that fall within the scope of your practice.
Qualifications
Nursing degree from an accredited institution
Valid state nursing license
Current CPR certification
Prior home care experience is preferred
Basic clinical skills and competencies
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn industry-specific software
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal)
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
