Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for the position of Administrator On-Call. In this role, you will provide indirect patient care and support to patients and caregivers, handling after-hours calls and offering oversight to weekend/on-call clinical staff. Your work will focus on ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent customer service beyond regular business hours. While this is primarily a remote position, there may be occasional in-person educational or in-service opportunities. The role includes after-hours administrative on-call duties during weekdays and weekends, along with 16 hours of scheduled management and workflow tasks over the weekend.

Responsibilities:
Provide patient and caregiver education regarding diagnoses, medications, infection control, and safety measures in line with the care plan.
Serve as the administrative on-call contact after hours and on weekends, including weekend holiday rotation.
Oversee weekend management, productivity, and admissions, ensuring smooth workflow support.
Foster collaboration and coordination with other healthcare disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with state, local, and payer regulations, ensuring all documentation aligns with care provided and meets regulatory standards.
Manage requisition and supply oversight, enhancing the patient's function and independence through appropriate equipment and supplies.
Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic interventions and maintain competence for all levels of patient care.
Supervise and provide guidance to weekend clinical staff to ensure best practices are followed.
Teach patients and caregivers about necessary safety measures related to their care.
Recognize and report any changes in patient status, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate proficiency in OASIS documentation, meeting required timeframes and accuracy.
Report incidents and follow agency and regulatory standards for incident management.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information, adhering to patient rights and agency policies.
Attend and contribute to staff meetings, patient care conferences, in-services, and other meetings as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned, all within the scope of practice.
Qualifications:
Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
Current CPR certification.
Previous home care experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills and professional demeanor.
General knowledge of computers and the ability to learn industry-specific software applications.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities with great attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other professionals.
Capacity to think critically, research situations, and solve complex problems effectively.
Willingness to learn and achieve educational goals during the orientation process.
