Zantech is looking for a talented Secret Cleared Software Systems Engineer for an upcoming project to formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications. The Software Systems Engineer will provide top-level technical expertise including performing in-depth software systems programming and analysis.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

• Designs architectures including software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and future cross-functional interfaces.
• Ensures systems are compatible and compliant with DoD standards.
• Design and architect complex software systems and applications
• Develop high-level system design diagrams and technical specifications
• Implement modern security solutions and ensure DoD compliance
• Provide technical direction for program design, coding, testing, and documentation
• Evaluate existing and new software products for compatibility and performance
• Support FPDW system architecture and integration requirements
• Coordinate with project management on technical direction and schedules

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

• 10+ years systems engineering and software development experience with expertise in MicroStrategy or Business Intelligence platforms, analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design 
• Modern security solutions experience (Blockchain or cryptographic research)

Required Certifications/Education:

• DoD 8570 Certification (Minimum IAT-I) such as:
  • Security+ CE
  • GSEC or SSCP
• Nationally Recognized Technical Authority Certification such as:
  • TOGAF 9 Certified (Enterprise Architecture)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Business Intelligence/Analytics Certification such as:
  • MicroStrategy Certified Architect
  • Tableau Desktop Certified Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • SAS Certified Professional

Required Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
