Our Head of Design reports directly to the CEO, alongside Product Management and Engineering.
We have a well-staffed team with a ratio of 1 Product Designer to 1 Engineering pod.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to own our Feature Flagging product. Our Product Designers are strategic, so we look for people who can go from discovery to release.
Lead the process of and form an informed vision for your product area. Align your team and the leadership team on your vision.
Proactively define and solve cross-team user problems
Execute the entire design process including forming goals, user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
Collaborate with Engineering to breakdown milestones and balance quality and speed
Refine our design systems and processes
Be a champion of a collaborative, low-ego, impactful design culture
Customer-centric: You understand both technical needs and emotional needs of our customers.
Ownership mindset: You thrive on autonomy and owning a project from start-to-finish. The quality of your work and the impact of what ships is a part of how you measure success.
Technical appetite: You are interested in designing products for a technical audience and will spend the effort to learn their domain and language.
Systems thinker: You think about how people and processes work together and you’re able to simplify complexity.
Tenacious: You hold a high bar for customer experience and our design brand. You make sure that design is a significant stakeholder in our product process.
You have 5+ years of experience as a UX or Product Designer, can self-direct and prioritize your work.
You have experience working on a complex, technical, or data-heavy B2B products
You are capable of driving both strategy and polishing design details
You can balance making decisions with user research, intuition, and conversation with team members. You know when to use which methods to uncover needed insights.
You succinctly and clearly communicate your rationale behind your decisions both internally and externally.
