Location: While the majority of our AMA(Alexa Mobile Accessory)/AIPC(Amazon InterProcess)/Networking stack(Standards like BLE Mesh, Matter, 802.11.15.4 (Zigbee , Thread)) team are in are based in Sunnyvale, US, we are also actively looking hire in Austin United States: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA.
The Role:
As a Software Development Engineer - Wireless Software application team you will engage with experienced cross-disciplinary staffs to conceive and design innovative consumer products. Vertically your ownership can span across application, device framework, proprietary/standard connectivity stack, drivers and low level wireless controller coexistence and scheduler algorithms. Building localization software based on wireless signals. Horizontally you will be given to opportunity to work and own connectivity solutions across all Amazon digital devices spanning from Kindle, Fire TV, Echo, IOT and more as well as application on mobile devices
The Amazon Connectivity team designs connectivity software solutions for Amazon devices encompassing wide range of products including the Echo family of devices.
You can be part of a fast-paced, agile and innovative team who is bringing new connectivity experiences to the exciting range of devices in a startup like environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
