The Test Engineer II is a key member of the Digital Engineering team. The global role is part of the team responsible to plan, review, develop and execute both manual and automated test cases. They are a key member of the test engineering team to develop, test, support and continually improve high-quality, innovative, and software solutions. They collaborate with other testers, developers and product mangers to ensure high quality deliverables including, tests, software, and documentation.

Job Duties

• Participate with the Test Engineering team to plan establish and maintain a robust set of test assets both manual and automated.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and individuals to ensure proper process is followed and verification activities and conducted with appropriate documentation.
• Create/Perform Test Analysis of Approved Functional Requirements.
• Conduct Requirements Ambiguity Reviews.
• Create Test Plan Documents.
• Create Test Summary Documents.
• Create Test Case Documents based on Test Analysis.
• Perform exploratory testing based on functional requirements and other design documentation.
• Create/maintain functional graphical models of software functional requirements, which augment textual representations in natural language.
• Define and implement risk based test strategies.
• Use innovative and creative methods for ensuring that system meets specified requirements.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• BS/BA in Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Science and Technologies or similar, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working within Software Testing organization.
• Experience with healthcare technology, clinic IT environments, and the healthcare industry.
• Experience with test management tools such as Quality Center, Azure Devops Test Manager or Jama.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with embedded software and hardware development.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Experience in planning regression test strategies.
• Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.): Traveling: 10%.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstratable strategic thinking.
• Strong hands-on coaching and teaching skills.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $79,062.00 - $106,734.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
