Job Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch calls in a timely manner and travel to designated locations to perform vehicle recoveries
• Implement appropriate recovery methods and techniques to safely extract vehicles stuck in ditches, mud, water, or other difficult terrain
• Operate towing equipment such as winches, chains, and hooks to recover vehicles
• Assess and determine the most efficient recovery approach while minimizing potential damage to the vehicle
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines during recovery operations
• Maintain accurate records of the recovery process, including documenting vehicle conditions before and after recovery
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns in a professional manner
• Assist in securing vehicles for transportation and ensure they are properly loaded on tow trucks or trailers
• Adhere to company policies and industry regulations regarding proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials found during recoveries
• Clean and maintain all recovery equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order
• Work collaboratively with team members to plan, strategize, and execute complex recovery operations
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in recovery techniques through continuous learning and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in vehicle recovery, towing, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in operating towing equipment and knowledge of various recovery techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in challenging recovery situations
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional night shifts, weekends, and holidays
