THE POSITION: We are looking for a Tower Technician I (MODS). The pay range we offer is $40,000 to $50,000 per year. We offer a generous compensation plan based on industry standards and your experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Tower Technician I (MODS) is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment on towers and other structures. Installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment includes but is not limited to antennas, coaxial and fiber-optic cables, and electrical systems. The Tower Technician I will work under the supervision of a Tower Foreman and will ensure compliance with all company and industry safety regulations.
Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment on towers and other structures.
Follow all company and industry safety regulations.
Assist in the scheduling and coordination of all crew members and equipment.
Report any issues or concerns to the Tower Foreman.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed and materials used.
Communicate effectively with the Tower Foreman and other team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
1-2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Experience with installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment on towers and other structures is a plus.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Must be able to climb and work at heights.
Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
Strong communication skills.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
