About the Warehouse Specialist Role:
Due to our rapid growth in late 2023, continuing strong into 2024 and beyond, we have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Specialist to join our dynamic Warehouse Team. In this fast-paced, schedule-driven environment, the Warehouse Specialist will perform a variety of tasks essential to our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Specialist:
* Receiving: Check received materials against vendor invoices and orders, ensuring accuracy and condition.
* Inventory Management: Prepare incoming materials for inventory, maintain inventory counts, and resolve discrepancies.
* Material Handling: Deliver materials to work centers, ensuring timely and efficient workflow.
* Shipping: Verify identifying information, such as counts and weights, against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
* Delivery: Transport finished goods to customer sites using a delivery truck.
* Equipment Operation: Operate tier-lift trucks or hand trucks to move shipments from the shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work areas.
Qualifications for the Warehouse Specialist Position:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and an ERP/MRP computer system.
* Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems, develop and evaluate options, and recommend solutions.
* Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
