Front Desk Dental Receptionist Location High Bridge, NJ :

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in a dynamic dental office environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and supporting the overall efficiency of our dental office. This position offers room for advancement depending on experience. We are a rapidly growing practice.

Duties

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
• Handle incoming calls, responding to inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
• Assist with dental billing processes and ensure proper documentation is filed.
• Support office management tasks, including inventory management and supply requests.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the office's operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental office or medical setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Dentrix, or similar dental office systems is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and records.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of dental billing practices is advantageous but not required.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and supporting team objectives.
• Insurance and accounting experience is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 38 per week
