Legacy Custom Signs and Graphics is a creative and customer-focused sign and graphic company dedicated to producing high-quality graphics, signage, and branding solutions for businesses and organizations. Based in Castle Rock, we are looking for a creative, organized, and highly motivated Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team! At Legacy Custom Signs and Graphics, we are a small, woman-owned, family business and we believe and celebrate big ideas, creative thinking, and a can-do attitude!

What you’ll do:

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in creating engaging and impactful visual content for various platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with our head graphic designer and production team to ensure brand identity is consistently upheld across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a creative and self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating compelling and high-quality designs for signs, graphics, and other branding materials.
  • Use knowledge of design, typography, and color theory to create aesthetically pleasing designs that effectively communicate the intended message and engage the clients target audience.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their design needs and bring their vision to life.
  • Prepare files for production and ensure accuracy in design specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with the head designer and other departments to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality designs within established deadlines.
  • Assist with customer service tasks, including answering client calls and inquiries.
  • Occasionally support installation projects as needed.
  • Occasionally have administrative duties, such as contacting vendors, etc. to support the team.

What You Bring:

  • 1-3 years of experience in design or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong background in color theory and typography.
  • Portfolio and resume showcasing your design skills and demonstrating your understanding of design principles and techniques.
  • Strong eye for detail and the ability to create accurate and precise designs that align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and clients.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and has the ability to multitask and assist in various roles beyond design.
  • Basic knowledge of sign production, print, installation, etc. is a plus, but not required.
