Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Associate Buyer to support entry-level purchasing functions and assist with procurement activities. This role offers the opportunity to develop purchasing skills and gain hands-on experience in the full procurement cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and specifications.
Create and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
Award bids and communicate effectively with suppliers.
Track and monitor orders to ensure prompt delivery.
Maintain purchasing records and resolve order-related issues.
Collaborate with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Assist with department projects and perform data entry tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of purchasing experience.
Proficiency in administrative procedures, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain focused in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
