We are seeking skilled tax professionals with experience in working with large insurance company clients to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review insurance company tax returns, including forms 1120-PC, 1120-L, ASC 740, and SSAP 101.
- Handle complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Provide expert tax services and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Utilize technology and tax software tools, such as ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, GoSystems, OneSource, and FastTax.
- Assist with tax planning and provide valuable insights to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and high-quality services are delivered.
Requirements:
- Experience preparing tax returns for insurance companies.
- Strong understanding of tax forms, including 1120-PC, 1120-L, ASC 740, and SSAP 101.
- Knowledge of multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual returns.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software, such as ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, GoSystems, OneSource, and FastTax.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Master's in Taxation is a plus, but not required.
- CPA or EA license, or actively working toward obtaining certification.
- 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
