Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego - Sorrento Valley is seeking full-time Veterinary Assistants to join our 24/7 Emergency, Specialty Referral, & Teaching hospital in San Diego, California.

Here at Veterinary Specialty Hospital- Sorrento Valley you will find Neurology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Medical/Radiation Oncology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Advanced Imaging (MRI, CT, U/S, Radiology), Blood Banking, ECC (ER, Intermediate Care, ICU) all under one roof. In addition to these specialties, we also operate our own Pharmacy.

The sessions are conducted by our board certified doctors, residents and VTS credentialed technicians. Veterinary personnel from all over are invited to attend in person or via webinar.

Pay Range: 

VA:  $23 - $30/hr

* Additional shift differentials of $2.00-3.50/hr available for overnight

About You :

Minimum of 2 - 3 years working in a progressive veterinary hospital.

Completion of an approved Veterinary Assistant program a plus.

Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.

Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
